I was born and raised in Niagara Falls and have lived in Las Vegas (1993-1999) and Maryland (2007).
I moved to Las Vegas right out of college to work for MGM Grand Hotel. I also had the pleasure of working at The Stratosphere and Rio Suites.
Upon returning to Western New York (my first move back) I switched careers from hotels to academia.
I worked at a local community college as an Academic Program Director and Assistant Professor of Hospitality Management. In 2007 I accepted a position at a community college, just outside DC, to start a new Hospitality & Tourism Institute. My family and I moved to Maryland and lived just south of Baltimore. After only one year (with the new institute up and running) we decided to move closer to family (the second move back).
I am happily married, 5 1/2 years, together for 9 1/2. My wife and I have a wonderful son named Nathan, who is almost 2 1/2 years old. He is a BIGGY BOY! I enjoy golfing(I miss golf!), gardening(next time I have one), theatre, musical productions(including Karaoke), and doing all sorts of things with my wife and son.
