WINSTON plays sort of a indie/rock/whatever kind of music with strong epic melodies. The band consists of four dedicated souls with different musical influences but with a common musical aim - spread the words of WINSTON throughout the world. So far the band has played on most of the venues around Stockholm such as Debaser Medis, Fryshuset, Mosebacke, Alcazar, Harry B James and many others. We have also attended some festivals during the summer of 2008.
In May 2008 WINSTON won the Emergenza Sthlm final on Debaser Medis. WINSTON was together with The majority says selected by a jury as the best stockholm band out of 120 bands!! In July 2008 WINSTON began a colaberation with musical organization Upsweden, www.upsweden.com
In between april of 2006 and january of 2009 WINSTON has recorded a number of demo tracks on various locations. Go to media on www.winstonband.se to listen to a sample from these recordings. You can also find videos from the Emergenza Festival from may of 2008.
In September of 2009 WINSTON is planning to release an EP on the independent record company Grandium Music. Stay tuned for more information on where to buy the CD!
