For When I Am Weak, My God Gives Me Strength~

About Me

If you haven't heard the name Diane Tribitt, stay tuned, you will. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Diane now resides in Houston, Texas with her husband, Patrick Tribitt, a gifted musician, producer, and songwriter. Diane makes it clear that she is first a God-fearing woman who is honored and humbled to have been chosen by God to make a difference in the world through her music. Diane states the success of her career is totally God's doing, "It still amazes me how God has ordered my steps to bring me to where I am today and to propel me to my destiny". Diane credits her husband as well for her success, "He has always had faith in me when I didn't have it in myself". The music track "Jesus" (playing on Diane's Page), was written and produced by Diane and Patrick. Diane started her singing career like many other artists in the choir at her childhood church, Central Memorial Baptish Church when she was about 5-years old and has never stopped. Diane started writing songs and poetry when she was about 10-years old and realizes that God was molding her then because she never imagined that it would become a career. Diane is the mother of 3-daughters (Andreea, Adrienne, and Alyssa), she says "they inspire me to fulfill my calling". She is also unbelievably a proud grandmother to Cierra Niccole. Diane has had the opportunity to do live and studio work for some acclaimed artists in various genres of music such as: Yolanda Adams, Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Don Henley (The Eagles), Nancy Wilson, Howard Hewett, Michael Crawford (Phantom of the Opera) and many more. She also has had the opportunity to work with some phenomenal local artists and musicians in Houston: Parrish Early, Mark Taylor, Krystle "Nae-Ne" Harper, V. Michael McKay, John McConnell, Rosalyn Brunswick-McDuffie, Shawn and Rhonda McClemore, Dean James, Kai, and Bridgjette Taylor. Diane is currently working with several artists to provide lyrics on their upcoming projects! Be on the look out!!

I'd like to meet:

When I read so many others response to this, it was funny to me most of them said they wanted to meet God. After I thought about it, I realized I met Him a long time ago when I accepted Him as my Savior. Therefore, the person I would really like to meet is Whitney Houston because in spite of everything the media has to say about her, she will always be a phenomenal singer. We have all experienced good & bad times in our lives but the difference is that we don't live under a spotlight where our lives are an open book, waiting to be read. I'm prayin' for her and I know when she comes back, she's going to do it with a vengeance. That's just too much talent to fall by the wayside.

I love all music especially Gospel and R&B.
