About Me

My name is Mike and I'm from the Cleveland (Ohio) area (Lakewood to be exact). Initially I'm a very SHY person...I may not seem like it at times (I've gotten better at hiding it) but TRUST ME...I am! My hair color can change with my mood *laughs*...and it is currently it's natural color of brown. I love movies. I have a decent sized dvd collection which is fairly diverse but does heavily favor horror films (as do I). My favorite directors are Pedro Almodóvar (Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, All about My Mother, Talk to Her, Volver, etc) and Hitchcock.I enjoy travel and look forward to doing more as time allows. I'm more of a city guy and favor places like Amsterdam, London, San Francisco, etc. I love art museums and one of my favorite places to spend time is the Cleveland Museum of Art. (I can't wait for the renovation and expansion to be complete because I really miss it!)While I enjoy foreign films, travel, art, theatre, etc... I'm a very down to earth kinda guy and feel most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. I love to explore tourist traps, ghost hunting (*laughs*), horror film conventions, coasters, rock concerts, people watching, and singing badly to the juke box with friends while drinking a Corona.I'm the type of friend that will sit-up all night with someone if they "just need to talk" but also the type that will yell at you if you are dating a user/loser. *laughs* I'm sincere, a bit sarcastic at times, silly, inquisitive, weird, hopelessly imperfect, diabolically determined, adventurous, loyal, sometimes shy and sometimes slow to open up to strangers but always a "true friend" and a hopeful (not hopeless) romantic.I do tend to leave my computer signed on even when I'm not at home so it sometimes appears that I'm online when I'm really not. Love, Peace, Pride. ~Mike --------------------------------------------------------Vani lla Sky - Umbrella
