I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

yeah... ummmm...i'm a pretty good human. i love to design but find that most of the time i'm just making blah companies look good. i think pure creativity is one of the best things ever. i like to look at things (buildings, books, pretty pieces of trash in the gutter etc...) and i can't help how much i do it.i spend almost all summer wishing it would be winter. when the snow flies i spend as much time as humanly possible skiing and trying not to loose my job and/or going totally broke. i travel all over the place for snow. three feet of powder and a small group of friends is my perfect day.if its not design or skiing then its mountain bikes, road bikes, post ride beers, watching good movies, hanging out with friends, cooking, and generally living to the fullest extent. and yeah i like mellow days here and there too.

My Interests

design, skiing, mountian biking, fast road bikes in the city, new found love of photography, art, film, music, food, wine (red please), and oh my god trying skateboarding again

I'd like to meet:

fun peeps with something to say or something to show. anybody who wants to go play in the snow or ride bikes in the mud. oh and you gotta be passionate about something in this world. i don't care if its horseshoes or politics, just have something that gets you all super excited.

Music:

right now - Bloc Party, Built To Spill, Caribou, Cold War Kids, Figurines, Grandaddy, Islands, Kings Of Leon, Menomena, Modest Mouse (more old than new), Neutral Milk Hotel, Common Market, Ratatat, Sage Francis, Shout Out Louds, Sufjan Stevens, Tapes 'n Tapes, The Brian Jonestown Massacre (thanks nicole), The Shins, Thom Yorke, Tokyo Police Club (so hot right now!), TV On The Radio

Movies:

i think an inconvenient truth is really important for everybody to see. then go see stranger than fiction fiction to cheer up. yes you can punch me in the arm and call me a sap ass for liking that movie.

Television:

i must admit i watch that fuggin LOST show. it was great on DVD, now watching on network is hurting my feelings. and no i still don't own a TV.

Books:

anything by chuck palahniuk, or tom robbins. 1984 was great to read again after college. looking forward to kill a mockingbird again.

Heroes:

anybody making their dreams become reality
