movies, music, shooting (photography), making diaramas, travelling, reading, walking around nyc, snide comedy and comedians, some politics - too much and my head explodes..., eating, drinking, etc. ya know - the good stuff. whatever is good, i'm interested in it
Update - Just recently met Billy Bragg and Mick Jones/Tony James of Carbon/Silicon. All three of them were smart, interesting, funny and seemingly well-grounded people. All three have been part of music that has influenced me greatly and music i've really enjoyed, so it was great meeting them and not having one bit of disappointment. In general though, I like meeting interesting people that can communicate, that i can laugh with and that are not insane. Is that too much to ask?

Some: Godfather, Omen, Exorcist, It's a Wonderful Life, On the Waterfront, When Harry Met Sally, All About Eve, Avalon, Now Voyager, any film with Cary Grant, Claude Rains, Jack Lemmon..., Mommie Dearest, The Birds, After Hours, The Prisoner of 2nd Avenue, Broadway Danny Rose, Annie Hall, A Bronx Tale, Moonstruck, Notorious, Mildred Pierce, Withnail & I, About a Boy...oh...way too many to list off top of my head ...this deserves some more thought.
Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Colbert, 24, Sopranos, Entourage, Sex and the City, Seinfeld, Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Showbiz Show with David Spade, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels - the kids are hilarious, old movies on TCM, some food shows like Tony Bourdain and Batali, I love transformation shows whether it be ppl or homes.
Some favorites as they come to me: High Fidelity, We Have Always Lived in the Castle; Einstein's Dreams; The Little Prince; Anthem; Cat's Cradle, Notes from a Small Island, Crackpot. Bill Maher's New Rules is still hilarious even after multiple reads - dangerous subway reading since it causes occasional involuntary outbursts.
I could have been the walrus, but I'd still have to bum rides. People who possess qualities that are the polar opposite of the ones we have running the USA right now. People with intelligence, compassion, insightfulness into the human condition.
