Originally part of the Beatnuts production team V.I.C. has no doubt earned a space on hip hops A-List.Beatsmith Marco Polo has been invading the underground with beats that remind listeners why they first fell in love with hip hop. He has four beats on the new Boot Camp Click release THE LAST STAND available July 18th. He has also produced songs for Jean Grae, Kool G Rap, Masta Ace, Big Noyd and more.Sean Price, member of the Timberland boot stomping Boot Camp Click released his first solo album last year which was voted by Source Magazine as independent Hip Hop album of the year. Sean P is also well known as one half of the late nineties underground powerhouse Heltah Skeltah.Butta Verses, who many consider to be hip hop's next rising star, can be found on De La Souls latest full length album The Grind Date. He has recently toured with De La Soul, Common and John Legend. His much anticipated debut album is due out in 2006. Butta Verses is also working on a group project with partner in rhyme Filth. Together they are known as TFAF (The Fresh Air Fund).Brooklyn NY native Joell Ortiz has been referred to as hip hops next big thing. 2006 promises to be a big year for the MC who was featured in Source Magazine's Unsigned Hype column in March 2004. Since then he has been on the grind on NY radio shows from Funk Flex to Kay Slay or appearing on mixtapes from Stretch Armstrong, DJ Whoo Kid and Tony Touch.
