As a band, we have noticed that alot of music today is quite negative and seems to only complain about problems. In our music we try to stray from the typical chant of "Life sucks" and try to focus more on solutions to problems. Even when we get caught in a cliche-filled idea, we try to step back and think of how there are too many songs like this already. A main goal of this band is for anybody listening to take something from our words, to interpret them however you want, and keep that message inside you, and use it for positive enforcement. Also Death Rides The Skyline has had the priveledge of sharing the stage with ill nino, vanna,ekotren,against the fire,death by dancing and many more....We have all either been in other or even the same bands for quite some time and our line up is definately complete now! Ian(vocals) has a very wide range of screams and singing which has help the writing process in so many ways. Wes (guitar) is a never ending supplier of creative riffs and he can make his pecs move up and down which also helps the writing process! Lenny (bass) has been there just as long as Ian and Wes have been always like a machine! he just plays everything too fuckin solid and he headbangs GREAT!Evan (guitar-synth-screams) is a rather new edition to this masterpiece. during Johns(drums) 3rd week with the band he threw up an idea of a synth player and so came Evan, who later filled the guitar slot also.John(drums) who also joined the band in Oct 07 is the backbone to the sound we love so much. He will literally refuse to play a beat that sounds like another which just makes this music more creative and enjoyable to listen to. So for fans of bands like Haste The Day, Still Remains, From Autumn To Ashes, A Day To Remember give us a listen to and hey you never know our songs might be stuck in your head some day!!!!
