About Me

After several years of silence, the LORD KAIAPHAS returns to spread sonic darkness unto the World. Only this time, the former singer of ANCIENT has done it alone, without having made any compromise of artistic creativity whatsoever.

The musick of THOKKIAN VORTEX is inspired by the first wave of Norwegian black metal(1990-1996).

There are also orchestral/symphonic and dark ambient elements in the musick.

Kaiaphas did not set out to create a full time band. THOKKIAN VORTEX was created for purely self-indulgent purposes. There are absolutely NO plans for any Live performances. However, the Lord Kaiaphas does intend to release a THOKKIAN VORTEX album sometime in 2007.
