Well I'm a Casting Director!

Member of the Casting Directors Guild, I've been freelance for ten years now.

I'm passionate about working in the North and developing the talent there. Sorry if that sounds worthy but it's true.

Most recently I cast short film 'Touchdown' for Findaway Films - due out soon!It's going to be great with a cracking cast if I do say so myself!

    • I'm working on several projects in development at the moment including a new TV series and I'm also working on a film to shoot end of August - I also cast commercials, theatre and corporates.

    My Interests

    I really want to go to Cambodia and Vietnam so that's one of my main interests at the moment. Keep meaning to learn Thai but need to find the time first!

    I want to try more extreme sports...I LOVE SNOWBOARDING!!! Archery classes going well!!Really want to do a cliff jump...preferably in New Zealand - hey, if you gonna risk your life, might as well have a view! Taking motorbike test next year (Don't tell my Dad!)Adrenaline junkie? Me?

    I'd like to meet:

    In my job I often get to meet my heroes and thats great....silly and unbelievable but great!! My ambition is to work on something Jodie Foster produces.

    I love working with professional,enthusiastic people. If you have ambition and want to make it happen, we'll get on.

    Still to meet Pink though - that would be cool.

    So varied....the child in me loves Avril Lavigne, Busted,Mcfly,Blink 182 - the growd up me prefers Annie Lennox, Alison Moyet, Texas, The Feeling, Snow Patrol, My Chemical Romance, Evanescence, Women of Country and Johnny Cash, REM, Pink, Madonna, Faithless, Kaiser Chiefs, Fratellis, U2..shall I stop yet?

    Movies:

    Too many...Some Kind of Wonderful, Crouching Tiger,Hidden Dragon,Ghost,St Elmo's Fire,Inside Man,The Italian Job,Girl Interupted,Resident Evil (how much did you jump?)Underworld, Ultraviolet...(vampires..love them!) Scream 1-3, Scary Movie (4 a bit rubbish tho!)Usual Suspects,Anything by M.Night Shamaylan, Indiana Jones,Murder on the Orient Express,Happy Feet......bored yet?

    I love stuff like Tomb Raider,X Men, Elektra, Daredevil..

    Television:

    Things I cast! CSI, Alias, The L Word, ER, The Simpsons. Love Waterloo Road - great Northern actors...they're the best! Smack The Pony, Spaced, Green Wing....

    Books:

    Anything! erm.....yep...anything!
