BIO MAMMOUTH/BLABLA/WELCOME/INFOS/... ____________________________________________________ Guitariste et chanteur des SLEEPPERS depuis la formation originale en 1989, hyperactif insatiable au sein du groupe qui continue de frapper les esprits curieux en écumant les salles, Mamu, alias MAMMOUTH, a toujours gardé comme priorité l'expérimentation de textures sonores et de nouvelles ambiances.Profitant du bug mental global en 2000 pour créer le collectif TRIGGER Sleeppers-Collective-Project, le noyau dur explose en de multiples collaborations.C'est lors de sessions studio pour un album, un maxi ou un titre précis que les SLEEPPERS font participer de nombreux invités. MAMMOUTH est un hybride résultant de ces expériences.Ce besoin de se diversifier reste sa motivation première et est à l'origine de ce projet personnel live.Sa première production est la participation, en 2000 toujours, à la compil CD "TIBET LIBRE" à l'initiative de l'association "Solidarite Tibet". Ce double CD sorti chez YELEN MUSIQUES a réuni 60 artistes mobilisés pour cette cause universelle.A l'initiative en 2003 d'une compil de morceaux des SLEEPPERS remixés par différents artistes et amis de la scène francaise, et, parallèlement aux tournées du groupe, les années qui suivent sont consacrées à l'affinement du processus.A noter, fin 2005, sa participation à la compil CD "MALDITA Va.01" sortie par MALDITA RECORDS, réunissant 11 artistes de la scène electro bordelaise.Oscillant entre un dub ethnique et une trip hop digitale où se confondent chants incantatoires et rythmiques break, MAMMOUTH explore des contrées intimes, oniriques, parfois down tempo, de l'ambiant au chaos.Les projections video parties intégrantes du set décuplent les sens le but étant toujours de faire partager des sensations positives, hypnotiques et riches en fréquences psycho-actives...Welcome to MAMMOUTH. ____________________________________________________ The guitarist and singer of the Sleeppers since they were first formed in 1989, an insatiable and hyperactive man inside the band that continues to catch the curious minds by scouring the concert halls, Mamu, aka Mammouth, has always had as a priority the experimentation of sound textures and new atmospheres. Taking advantage of the 2000 global mental bug to create the collective TRIGGER Sleeppers – Collective – Project, the hard core explodes into several collaborations. During studio sessions for an album, a maxi record or a single the Sleeppers invited many artists.Mammouth was born out of these experiments. This need to diversify himself is still his main motivation and is the cause of his personal live project. His first production was his participation in 2000 in the compilation Free Tibet initiated by the french association “Solidarité Tibet”.
