I love meeting new people; I recently lived and worked in Washington, and that experience changed my life. I met so many cool people with different experiences and lives than mine, but I learned and grew from them in ways that I couldn't have in any other situation. I love to be outdoors, I love the beach, I love nature. One of my favorite things to do is go for a run, by myself, in the mountains. I also LOVE to dance,to learn new kinds of dance, and to perform and share it with others. Some of my greatest experiences thus far have come from performing and sharing my culture through Living Legends at BYU.
I love to meet new people, but I especially love the company of a down-to-earth, chill, deep person. I'm not a fan of drama, so I tend to be the closest to people that don't bring it. ; ) I love to have good conversation, but the type of people that can really make you ponder long after the conversation is over, are few and far between. I love that. I like someone that can really get into my head and teach me something new... I love people that are fun, I love to be spontaneous, and I love people that allow me to laugh!
I love all types of music, but there is a time and a place for each kind, because it sets the mood in any situation. If I listen to anything with a good beat, I want to dance, if I listen to reggae,I want to sit on the beach around a bonfire and chill; R&B always reminds me of a past...something, someone special, some experience, someone I love. I have a love/hate relationship with R&B Music. ; ) As of now, I'm really into Sean Paul, because you can't ever listen to his music without wanting to dance. I love reggae, because it makes me feel good; that music creates a certain vibe that not everyone can really appreciate. I have always loved hip-hop, because anything with a good beat makes me happy, and there is a special place in my heart for Latin music, because there isn't anything sexier than a good Salsa dance. ;)
I love war movies; I love "Saving Private Ryan", "Life is Beautiful". Some of my other favorites are "Les Miserables" ,and I love "Grease." and "Dirty Dancing" ; ) It all depends on the company, who you watch it with, and the mood. I'm a sucker for a real chick flick, but easy on the cheese. "The Notebook" is good, because it's real love, it has a real story. I love scary movies, but the company can make or break those. Give me a nice-lookin guy to hold onto "when I get scared" and I will watch those any night of the week! ; )
I don't watch that much TV, but I do enjoy some reality TV now and again. Somehow I always got sucked into American Idol...how does that work? ; )
I don't usually have that much time to read, except for textbooks during the semester. ; ) Always gotta make time for the scriptures though!
My brother Stephen. He opitomizes true patriotism, and his willingness and pure desire to serve our country and the trials he has endured while doing so are incomprehensible. Stephen is amazing, beautiful, strong...my soldier.
