Music, movies and toys. Music is the key to life. No matter what mood you are in music helps. Keeps you up, gets you up, prolongs the sadness when you need it, and makes you bust out of it when you are ready to move on. Movies are the same, but for the most part gives you something to do with your friends when you don't want to talk with them, till after anyway where you now have a topic. ; ) Toys just bring joy and excitement to your life. No one can sit there and say they don't have a fond memory of that one toy when they were a kid that made them feel cool, loved, or better then someone else! I just haven't grown past those feelings, they continue to make me feel that way.
I'd like to meet:
People just like me!And Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, Lucky the Lucky Charms guy, and Jesus.
Music:
Music has been a very large part of my life. My folks were my first exposure to music, well I guess that would be true for everyone, but my folks were making it. So at the age of 3 I started singing and at 5 I was on stage in front of people. So, they were my first influence what music I liked. Later in life I found great bands like The Beatles, The Greatful Dead, Air Supply (don't laugh, they had great harmonies) But as time goes by even better bands come along and molded me into who I am today. Loving bands like Barenaked Ladies, The Virve Pipe, Dave Matthews Band, Stabbing Westward and also lets not leave out the wonderful sounds of Jack Johnson, Ben Folds, and Matt Costa. There are so many great musicians out there, you should never limit yourself, listen to it all!
Movies:
Much like music this is such an unfair category. There are so many great movies and you should see them all. A lot of people put blood, sweat, and tears into making them, even the bad ones, like "A Sound of Thunder", so you should enjoy then all. But if you must know "Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back" is my all time favorite movie, however anything Kevin Smith (Silent Bob) puts his name on is my favorite! The man is a genious. I say that loosely, but he is. He is one of the greatest wordsmiths of our generation, and let's just say it, one lucky mother!
Television:
Cartoons are a very large influence in my life. People sit and say cartoons are for kids, and if you watch cartoons you are immature and you need to grow up! That is crap! There is so much talant in cartoons. You have to know everything about everything to sometimes pick out the nuances and the jokes in just one episode of certain cartoons. So, if you have friends that love cartoons and feel they must watch them at all hours of the day, and you insist on making fun of them, you may want to watch what you say, they could just be smarter then you.
Books:
Books...I like books, you can learn a lot more by reading then watching the stories on TV or in movies. I wish the category said Comic Books though. As you could guess, I love Comic Books. Again, it's the art of it all, a blend of someones artistic talents brought together by the story telling of a beautiful mind.
Heroes:
I hate this category. We have become a nation that has lost site of what a hero really is. That is all I have to say about this matter right now.
