E.L.D. Performance (Every Last Detail, Inc.) was founded and incorporated in 1989 in the state of Maryland... but it's history goes back to the mid 80's in Long Island, NY. I'm Brian Bossone, working owner of E.L.D. since it's inception... and I am a serious motorsport enthusiast.I started loving cars in my early teens, and began hands on vocational training for autobody & repairs in my junior and senior years in High School. My first job was at a dealership as a "detailer", while still in school back in N.Y. Cars are my life... and I was motivated to have my own auto-related business, early in life. While in college, I developed and worked a "mobile detailing business", traveling to my customers home and businesses. I built a good clientele, and with the earnings built by own show cars. Soon my work became popular and friends asked me to help with their projects.In 1989 I had the opportunity to move to Maryland with my family. The economy in New York made it difficult for a young person of 21 to afford a shop of his own... so I moved to Maryland, found an affordable shop, and opened under the name "Every Last Detail". Working 6 and 7 days a week, my business grew, and I hired a helper. After hours I worked on my own show Mustang GT... and after winning numerous car shows, a following developed. I then started doing cams, heads, turbos, and superchargers as a sideline to my detailing business. After 3 years, the performance side of the business took over, and I moved to a much larger shop a few blocks away. Soon after I hired two mechanics to help keep up with the work... but E.L.D. was still missing one element!By the mid 90's, E.L.D. Performance became a very popular name, not only in Maryland but in other states. Our success in building not only beautiful but powerful cars became well know through numerous "national magazine write-ups", with Mustangs being our specialty. Now, with our performance clientele growing, and the need for a true retail "speed shop" in our region, another change was in the wind.In January of 1997, our second move took place. This time, strategically within one mile from a drag strip. Crofton, Maryland, was the new home of E.L.D. PERFORMANCE POWERSTORE, near Capitol Raceway just 20 minutes south of Baltimore. The detail business was dropped, and the only "retail speed-shop and full service performance installation center" in the region was created. Now our customers could come in, browse and purchase almost any part popular performance part or accessory for all vehicles. If we don't have it in stock, in most cases we can get what you need in a few days. We've become a major east coast distributor for many well know brands of motor components, superchargers, turbos, suspension and exhaust manufactures. We do not catalog because our product line is so extensive... but we do ship UPS.Although E.L.D. PERFORMANCE is well know to specialize in late model Mustang performance, over the past few years we have also built a very happy GM and Mopar customer base. Our 3 full time technicians are performance trained experts... and we have kept up with the demand for knowledge on most any vehicle.E.L.D. Performance over the years has grown & has kept up with the trends of the vehicle aftermarket product base and has even built & raced some of the fastest and most reliable street & strip cras. Our own race car was one of the fastest in the country with a best E.T. of 7.53 at over 184 MPH on small tires. With a full steel body Mustang. 342 CI EFI, turbocharged, ladder bar suspension & power glide transmission. I finished 11th in the world in NMRA pro 5.0 in 2001 and won numerous events in the following years.
