FOES The Biography
Back in 2002, 5 guys met and formed a band - FOES. Started out with some self-written materials and a small collection of cover numbers, the band played small jam sessions around town. For each bandmembers listen to different music (mostly metal-related) had made the band to sound like a vast array of genres packed into one. From rock to heavy metal, from prog to whatever - the band began developing a sound of their own.
The first big break came in 2004 - when the band was invited by Gegey Music to play a (real) gig in KT alongside some other big names in the scene. The much needed exposure was not wasted, and to compliment the achievement, the band recorded the first demo, but to no avail, never released. The biggest achievement for the band was playing as the opening act for LMB and SCTS on their 3rd stop for Sejenak Di Semenanjung tour.
To date, bandmates are separated by work, mostly. Busy with their 9-to-5 or whatever time they go to work, and also bound to the distance of where they work as well. It's been tough to write or to even amend materials that they have once they're not physically together. But hey, keep the faith and one day we'll do our thing as usual.
