I am retired from the Army after over 23 years. I was a Combat Medic for 3 years (3rd Bn 28th Inf), Military Policeman for 3 years (423rd MP Co), and finally...a Parachute Rigger/Pathfinder and Instructor for 17 years (101st, 507th, COSCOM (oy) ADFSD). I have been all over the world, seen many places, some good, some bad, some just plain shitty. I have made friends, and lost friends, and even misplaced a few. I now make my home here in Virginia. My main goal is to ensure that my children are nurtured, grow up healthy and happy, and to become successful young men and women. I put these children first, always, and some may say that is my weakness...I say they give me my strength! I am twice divorced; Steph and I get along better now than we did when we were married. Not saying much about the other one.
I am no angel, and I am not without faults. I bleed red, I cry real tears, I feel real pain, I fear my Higher Power...I can be funny, I can be silly, I can laugh, or just downright foolish. I am here for a purpose, and each day I grow closer to finding out the reason. Some say I am complicated, I say I'm more like a puzzle...with time and patience, the puzzle gets put together. If you give up too soon, then you just end up throwing the pieces back in the box and have to start all over again! But once it is all together, you will find that I am not that complicated of a person.

My youngest son, Mark, gave me his bear "Sean', as he so aptly named (after Sean Taylor #21), to take with me whenever I travel to keep me company and watch over me. I promised him I would. So these are 'Sean's' adventures...keep checking back for updates to see where he has been!

My children, they are my life! Fishing, boating, camping...basically anyhthing outdoors! Working on the house...no job too small, just might take me a year or two to finish:)(its called procrastination...lol)
