About Me

Anthony Brennan is so magnificent that to know him is to know love. He swoops in and captures your imagination while tugging away at your heartstrings. He heals with but a glance and restores faith in humanity to all he comes across. So why is he so ugly? Hard to say. But, he takes his mind off his deformities by illustrating for many publications and children’s books.portfolio = http://www.anthonybrennan.net

My Interests

Art, politics, wine, culture, movies, music, games, philosophy, books, and jogging

I'd like to meet:

Um...peeeeeeeeople

Music:

Tons of music....ical, pop, rap, reggae, alternative, country, rock n roll. I have like 20 gigs of music. I recently got into Patty Smith (the real one, not the dodgy one who's only good song was I Am The Warrior), Goldfrapp, Kanye, Elliott Smith, Rasputina, Tsunami Bomb, Martin Denny, New London Fire, and I'll listen to any remix.

Movies:

Batman Begins was pretty sweet, kung fu flicks are cool, I like epics, comedies, dramas. Just saw Wallace & Gromit, Memento, Six feet Under, Donnie Darko, wide range. Hero is definitely one of my favorites. Cool Hand Luke, Big Lebowski, Tery Gilliam movies, Lord of the Rings, stand up comedy films, just lots.

Television:

The Daily Show, Sopranos, Six Feet Under, MXC, not into hockey (sorry) i watch wrestling (so very, very sorry, I swear I'm not a redneck idiot), House (best hospital show ever) and kind of a news junkie.

Books:

I read a lot of graphic novels. Not the ones where Green Lantern saves the Sun from a giant tentacle, I mean ones that deal wth relationships, life, swearing, breaking up, mediocrity of life, silliness of life, and violence. And only if it's all well done. This includes Love as a Foreign Language, Scott Pilgrim, DramaCon, Runaways, Death Jr., and so on. Mostly black and white small press stuff, but thats were the great art is.I also read biographies and fiction books. Elmore Leonard, Stephen Hunter, Neil Gaiman, etc.

My Blog

Of Course!

Condoms are supposed to keep the sperm inside it. They are *supposed* to. For years, I've been dealing with such utter disappointment, every time my guys didn't make it through. Captured in that rubbe...

Cottage time

Post time, kids! (I hope)If memory serves me right, I had one whole day with no deadlines. The 8th. Next day, I got 2 calls, both due super-soon. So much for boredom. And the one Art Director has to b...

ratatouille

Go see Ratatouille. It's not the funniest Pixar film, although I haven't seen Cars. But it is the most visually compelling, with the best dialogue. It doesn't belittle the audience or try to fudge imp...

On Pajamas

I like my PJs the way I like my women: Soft, 100% natural, and with me inside them.PS: Also, without a brown stain, and fresh from the dryer.

Sadly, I Can Never Have Children

They're simply too fattening and, though delicious, give me major gas.

Gone for a spell

Guess I should just keep this thing alive in some form. Lately I've been following the Chris Benoit story. It's a harrowing tale, available in most media outlets, so I won't go into detail here. I'm s...
