For me, separation came as a bitter, glorious revelation. I realized, after the first waves of grief had ebbed, that I'd been beached for a long time. I'd stopped thinking about who I was and where I wanted to go. Being alone was scarily liberating. And yes.., I could re-make myself, decide who I really was. Everything felt new, charged with possibilities....Deeper and deeper she sinks... Into mist of...ecstasy
