Jonny and I Made a Song, this is what it sounds like...

About Me

I'm tom, I live in Hull. 127 Lambert Street to be precise. Nip round if you fancy some tea.I'm studying Politics and International Relations with french...which is nice, and I work at Planet Coffee.I like travelling and don't tend to stay in the same place for very long. I went to boarding school in Pocklington when I was 12, did my A levels in Lincoln at 18, went to uni in America when I was 19, moved to Manchester when I was 20 and then finally ended up in Hull at 21. Although I love Hull and its abundance of sandwich shops, I've just got back from a month long trip round europe, and am currently planning next summers trip to China. On top of that, i'm hoping to move to London next year to work in Parliament. When i'm older i'd like to move to france, have excessively long lunches and play boules. I'd also like two terriers called Trev and Shirley, six Lambretta's and a vegetable garden.

My Interests

My friends, Music from all over the place, making noises on guitars and pianos, reading, lambretta's, mooching round charity shops and random travelling.

I'd like to meet:

Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, Tony Benn and Sue Barker.Additionally, i'd also like to meet anyone who would like to write for Hullfire's news section.

Music:

I tend to enjoy most music obsessively and intend to develop a record collection rivalling John Peels. Specifically I like Radiohead quite a lot, probably a little bit too much, and have a lot of time for Do Make Say Think.

Movies:

I liked that spanish one...city of gods, and motorcycle diaries, Amelie was good too. Aside from that, Anchorman, Hot Shots, the Naked Guns and Hook.

Television:

Not a big t.v fan, aside from University Challenge, Grand Designs and Match of the Day.

Books:

Generally whatever the chap in Hullbooks tells me to read, and some french stuff nowadays as well.

Heroes:

Without a doubt John Peel, and Ivano Bonetti (ex grimsby town striker).
