About Me
DJ Gumja aka Domen Petaros was born in 1982. He started going on partyes in 1997 and there he founded interests to be a DJ. He loved techno but in the beginning he started playing dance music. After two years he bought two technics and his career started. His style is driving, funky and tribal techno on two or three turntables. He performed in all major clubs in Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina, back to back with DJ's as: Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Mauro Picotto, Gaetano Parisio, Deetron, Claude Young, Cristian Varela, Roberto Q. Ingram, Marco Bailey, Misa Salacova , Ignition Technican, La Di Da, Tom Hades, Misjah, Space DJ's, Ade Fenton, The Advent, Boriqua Tribez, Valentino Kanzyani, Oxia, Marko Nastic, Leandro Gamez, Cave, Eric Sneo, Ortin Cam, Billy Nasty, W.J. Henze, Dave The Drummer, Elton D, Axel Karakasis, Bryan Cox etc.
In 2005 Gumja founded interests to play also house music. His DJ name for house is Domenico Petarossi.
He loves producers such as Axel Karakasis, Wehbba, Preach etc.
With his friend Egidij Rodica, he founded an unprofitable organization called SOUND OF NEW MILLENIUM that promotes electro culture and »stimulates« newcomer DJs. Besides playing on parties DJ Gumja also loves producing his own music and hopes that he will make his first record soon.
