Ms. Latina Canada 2006

Giselle Stephanie Moya is an eager and ambitious, 21 year old student of the University of Toronto, who was crowned Ms Latina Canada World 2006 in front of a sold out audience in January. The roar of the crowd was deafening when her name was announced as the speechless Miss Moya only remembers that she didn't know what to think - all she saw was the flashing of cameras in her face, swarmed by media and photographers, as her life was about to change.
This aspiring actress/model has had quite a busy year, from being signed with Dream Productions as the official spokesperson for Spanish sensations, Aventura , to participating as one of the main girls in the newest Jelleestone music video, “I’m With You,” featuring Kasual Evans and Divine Brown. Giselle has been given the opportunity to not only meet but hang out with latin national and international celebrities, such as Fito Blanko, Fulanito, Amarfis, Grupo Niche, Ricky Franco and many more.
Giselle recently traveled back to her home country of Ecuador, where she had the privilege of spending time with all the Queens of Ecuador, including Miss Universe Ecuador: Katty Lopez, but also participated in political campaigns, doing charity work while she was there. Giselle's humanitarian compassion for her people made international media headlines in both Ecuador, Venezuela and around the world.
Giselle’s future plans consist of breaking out into the entertainment business as a successful actress. She’s has been blessed with several theatrical roles throughout her career and strives to better herself with every part. This international beauty say’s she owes who she is today to one main person in her life, GOD. It is her faith and trust, in God, that allowed her to persevere through many of her trials and tribulations but has ultimately given her strength to prosper in the future.
