If you have ever been in the car with me, you know that the picture above is exactly what its like.I'm Rachael. I've been lovingly referred to as "an ornery little shit" and I don't mind one bit! I'm probably the coolest person you will ever meet. I love my friends and family and would take a bullet for any of them. My wonderful, awesome friend Howie from NY tells me I am soley responsible for making LA attractive. I'm a music and art lover. I paint and my medium of choice is acrylic, however I am exploring other mediums as well. I dig writing and use my creative skills to express what I feel. I'm all about adrenaline... and as Ricky Bobby says "I wanna go fast!" I listen to most types of music but my favorite genre of all is METAL! Music is a huge pillar in my life. I believe in God. One of my favorite things to do ever is eat. Mmm, steak. I believe in hard work and integrity. I'm a strong minded person and follow my intuition. If I feel that one has negative energy and will do nothing to enrich my life, I cut them loose and I cut them quick, no hesitation. I love people, but I cherish my alone time. I don't take life for granted anymore. Shit happens, only the depth varies. I'm a big procrastinator, but I get shit done. I like to sing really loud in my car and go to shows. I dance a lot. I love to laugh... sometimes at my own expense... well, MOST of the time at my own expense... it doesn't bother me any. Whatever else you would like to know, feel free to ask.

My Interests

Music, music, music, art(both observing and creating), vampires, German culture, Venice Beach, cruisin' in my car, cursing like a sailor (yeah, I have a dirty mouth), wave running, reading, writing, painting, singing in my car, using my imagination, dancing, going to shows, hanging out, coffee shops, the moon and stars and the all emcompassing night sky, tattoos, piercings, freedom.

Industrial, Metal, Rock, Classic Rock, Country, Techno, Trance, Psy, House, Indie, Brit Pop, Electro, Drum n Bass, Celtic, Hardcore, New Wave, 80's, Cock Rock (aka Hair Metal), Pop Punk, Punk. I like lots of music.

Movies:

Comedies, Action, Horror. The Crow trilogy, LOTR Trilogy, Boondock Saints, Shaun of the Dead, Groove, Simply Irresistable, Anchorman... I have a whole list of movies that I love.

Television:

Family Guy, Simpsons, LA Ink, Miami Ink, the National Geographic and History Channels, Discovery Channel and any other channel that will teach me something.

Books:

Books on music, art, history, poetry, fiction, anything by Francesca Lia Block or Christopher Moore.

Heroes:

I find true heroism in different people in different ways. God for one, because He's gotten me through it all. My Mom, because without her, I'd be nothing. Her strength has carried forth in me and she has shown me what it means to be a real woman. Preston, because he has shown me what it means to be confident and love people as they are, flaws and all. The men and women in our armed forces, all branches of it. Musicians, because without them, the world would be far too quiet. The people with the courage to face the fire, no matter how scared they are, even if they, themselves are the fire. People who find beauty in everything. People who are comfortable enough in their own skin and don't have to rely on outside sources to be happy. MyGen
