All I want is a normal life.

About Me

You could say I'm just an average guy in a not-so average world. I'm currently serving time in the wonderful confines of the New Marshall Correctional System. They've bounced me around between facilities since my arrest last summer. With a little luck, my defense team will have me released by the end of 2008. That's the goal, at least.
Don't let the fact that I'm in here give you the wrong impression. I'm a good guy. Sometimes good people get involved in bad things, and bad things catch up with them even when they're not involved. I'll spare you the "I'm innocent" speech, because you probably wouldn't believe it anyway.
They currently allow me internet access in 15-minute supervised sessions periodically throughout the week. In the old days one had to use a pen and paper to communicate with the outside world. Now it's a keyboard and mouse.
My future plans include a "reset to zero", a fresh start with a blank slate. I'd like to move away from here, settle down, and start a family someday. Those thoughts are what keeps me going.
If you'd like to know more, just ask.

Has it really been three months?

Some might say that I've gotten into a bit of trouble. I know I've been a ghost for just under three months, and for that I apologize. There was an incident that I am not permitted to discuss with tho...

I only have a moment, so I'll have to make this brief. A couple days ago I reposted a bulletin called "Introduce Yourself" that I'd seen sent out by several friends. Your responses were overwhelming, ...

When trouble pays a visit.

Got an unexpected visitor today. Palmer stopped by, which is unusual. He's never been one to just drop in unannounced. Something is up, and I don't like it. When I first wound up here, he was pretty r...

The weekends don't mean much when you're behind bars

There used to be a time when the weekends meant so much. The city was my playground. A fine suit, a nice car, a pack of Dunhill and a beautiful woman on my arm. I'd say that I look forward to returnin...

Country Club Blues.

So I got scolded by the defense team last week, followed by being slapped by the State, due to their new policies regarding inmate relations. After today, I'm no longer allowed to discuss the case in ...

Suspect activity.

So before I got locked up I was doing a bunch of work in the north 'burbs. A lot of my friends were in the city though, and I'd been hoping to get transferred back down here at some point. I'd long su...

Good news...

Palmer pulled some strings to get me some extra computer time. I guess a few dollars still can go a long way in the right circumstances. They were talking about shipping me back up to Lake County, but...
