Well, let's see… I am 33-years-old, 5'10", approx. 183 lbs, have brown eyes and reddish-brown hair. (Not that I am proud of this or anything but I used to look like Ronald McDonald when I was a kid.) I have pictures to prove it. NO, you cannot see them. I was born and raised in Palmerton, Pennsylvania. After graduating high school I attended St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas for a semester. Not having made a decision on what direction I really wanted to take in life, along with being immature and having my head up my ass... I left school and enlisted in the United States Military - the Air Force. I attended basic training, Security Police tech school and M-60 "the PIG" gunner school in San Antonio, Texas. After completing that training, I was sent to Fort Dix, New Jersey to attend Air Base Ground Defense training. After ABGD was over I was off to my "home" duty station... Tinker Air Force Base here in Oklahoma. Now let me tell you... when I was told by my instructor that I would be assigned to and living my next four years in Oklahoma, I just about shit. I didn't have a damn clue where the hell Oklahoma even was. I mean, I knew it was a state but I did not have any idea as to where it was located within the states except out west. I had to find me a map and when I located it, I thought... holy hell, what can possibly be located there! Anyway, that's how this Yankee, that's right... you heard me Y-A-N-K-E-E came to live in Oklahoma.
While in the Air Force I was a Military Police Officer – “Security Specialist†is what they called us (amongst other things). I got to go to several places within the States as well as completed a six-month tour in the Republic of Panama as part of a Joint Task Force for Operation Safe Haven. This was where several housing camps were established for all the Cuban refugees that decided they wanted to leave Cuba and come to the United States. A large number of these refugees were picked up by the U.S. Coast Guard and transported to Panama where they stayed until the U.S. Government decided what to do with them. Panama, when you get out of the populated areas, is very beautiful. It was really neat to go walking through the jungle and to see the Panama Canal. Our camp was approximately a mile from the canal. I got some pretty cool pictures while I was there. Several months after returning I volunteered to go to Saudi Arabia. I spent three months based in Riyadh. I actually enjoyed being there, getting to experience a different culture. BUT, I was happy to get home once the three months were over too.
Once back in Oklahoma a very good friend of mine got me my start in civilian law enforcement. He introduced me to the Chief of Police in Hennessey, Oklahoma where I was soon hired as a reserve police officer. I LOVED IT! I eventually finished my enlistment in the military and got hired full-time in Hennessey. I stayed there until September of 2000 when I resigned as the Assistant Chief of Police. By November I was hired by the Canadian County sheriff's Office and assigned to the Criminal Patrol Division. As of the time this is being written, I am still employed there (although I have not checked my mail box to see if I have received a pink slip or not). Besides, I still have a patrol car parked in my, wait... let me check... yeah, it's still parked in my driveway.
Well, I think that gives you a little background information on me. Not that you really cared to know that much crap but it says ABOUT ME so you got it! Anything else you might be interested in knowing, just ask!
