Well, the way I see it.... if you are here, you are looking to know a bit about me..... so here goes your very LARGE history lesson on me! :)
General: I am a less than typical gal with a less than typical life. I grew up here, there and everywhere learning new things every day about life. I've seen hardships as everyone so commonly does. Life is no easy task.
Inspirations: I have been writing since I was 12. I have written hundreds of poems, and a handful of short stories. I am currently working on a book that is set to be published in September of 2005. I love music, it is my solace. I play the piano/keyboards for personal enjoyment. I like to sing on occasion at a local kareoke place.... and I used to sing for small crowds.... which was many moons ago.
Future goals: Although I had taken a career in the nursing field, I still wish for more. I would like to go to law school and works towards a career in the legal field. I am aiming at being an assistant district attourney/prosecutor. It is my firm belief that one can serve no better purpose than to protect the public from dangerous people. The rest of my goals are that of everyone elses.... buying a home, having a happy family... etc.
Philosopies: Don't have too many of those, but one thing I firmly believe is that there is only one person who can make your life better, and that is you. One who lives a horrible life and believes that he/she will be drowning in sorrow for the rest of thier lives, is sadly mistaken, and will in fact live a sorrowful life. I believe that you can always make the best of your life, and I am living proof. But hey, that's just my opinion.
I am a very complex person, yet simple at the same time. Perhaps I should explain...
I am complex emotionally and mentally. I like to spend endless hours analyzing the seemingly ordinary things in life. Once the mind gets working, it can accomplish many unforseen tasks. I love to be creative, whether it be through my music, or my writing. I love my writing! It is so relaxing, yet it unleashes the inevidable hidden deep below the surface. The possibilities are endless! I love music, it is my solace. I enjoy playing the piano, writing, and occasionally composing the music I create/write. Though I love the music I write and compose, it is only for recreation and for my soul. I love the simple things in life....
I love my son! I have the most wonderful 4 year old son, who is just amazing! It is funny, things can fall apart, you can be at the bottom of the barrel, and somehow, just thinking of that smiling child you gave birth to, you are able to embrace it with a smile. I wouldn't be whole without him in my life.
I love my Shaun! He is the most wonderful man in the world! He has helped me in more ways than words can possibly express. He has taught me not to be afraid of being who I want to be, and that I am able to have happiness in my life regardless of circumstance. This man walked into my life with open arms and carried me out of a life where I didn't exsist. He gave me the strength to wake up and face the brighter side of each day. With him by my side, I am not afraid to face anything that comes my way. I love this man for all of the many things he has done, and continues to do for me.
I can most likely be found near one the many beautiful scenic areas, usually by the water. I love the sense of peace it brings to me. There is something about the peaceful sound of water, falling and crashing around you, that makes me content.
