As a child he participated in numerous Church Jr. Choirs as well as a singing group with his cousins called “The Boys”. His aunt (Gospel Artist/Songwriter) took interest in helping him to develop his vocal talent by holding vocal rehearsals at his home during the summer. By age 11, ACE was writing poems and songs for “The Boys”, as well as participating in school talent shows. He perfected his stage presence by performing at various venues across the southwest of the U.S. ACE’s explosive talent has been displayed in popular places from The Sharks Club, and BB Kings in Southern California, to The Cashman Field Center in Las Vegas NV. He believes that hard work and persistence accompanied by mentors has aided tremendously in his performance development. He also believes in giving it all you got. His style has a universal fit that can accommodate the weekly club goers as well as major concert seekers alike. ACE contributes most of his singing and writing influence to legendary R&B groups and Gospel artist. Groups and artists such as Guy, Troop, and High Five had a great influence on him musically. Other greats such as Marvin Gay, Brian McKnight, Lionel Richie, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Babyface, Kirk Franklin and Fred Hammond have also contributed to his inspiration for the writing styles and subject matter of his music. ACE has a dynamic and diverse style, although his style is geared towards R&B/Hip Hop, his writing can also fit into the musical realms of neo-soul/ funk. ACE wants to eventually take his writing to a higher level and write/produce for other artists in the industry.ACE wants to venture into the business aspect of music. Not only has he been extensively studying the marketing and promotional side of the industry, in the last year he has acted as a business consultant for other independent labels and is in the process of developing his own label in Las Vegas, NV. He also strives to act as a mentor for the careers of young aspiring artists of tomorrow, His motto is “Don’t just be a singer or a rapper, be an ARTIST and know all aspects of the music business” ACE’s passion for music and the industry is powerful and sincere and he will be heard of around the world for years to come.
