MIC VANDALZSome say incrediable. Some say remarkable. But they are simply being themselves
MIC VANDALZ. In 1996 the world was introduced to the Mic Vandalz. RAWYAL,
PANAMA GRIF , TOMMIE GUNZ, and NORMAN BATES are the Vandalz. Four young MC's
from different areas in HARLEM, working together they have produced some of the
freshest ideas and music to hit the streets. The VANDALZ have put in work as writers,
producers, and in the mix of building their own studio have collaborated with both
multi-platinum producers and a number of gold and underground artist. Their first line
of buisness was "WORLDSERIES" , an underground street cd, which sold just under
10,000 copies. The VANDALZ still found time to record a few songs for a Tommy
Hilfiger mix cd advertising campaign, then again with local and overseas clothing
company HUNC Sportswear. No stranger to stages and arenas the VANDALZ did
their thing opening up for the LOX at Hartford Civic Center, plus holding down
the stage at TRAMPS before introducing KRS-ONE. A couple college promo radio tours
took them on an exciting ride thru Connecticut, Maryland, D.C. ,Philly, and landed them
in The Taste of Chicago. MIC VANDALZ have blazed the tracks of highly noted Hip-Hop
producers Dame Grease , Shorty Mac, P.K.Killer, Ron Jones, Pop Shit, and mixtape king
Ron G. Since laying verses on Joe's "Don't want to be a player" remix that awarded them
an over sea's gold plaque, the VANDALZ have stayed sharp on the lyrical skills. Another
gold plaque hanging up came from dropping verses on "The Real Hip-Hop" , a guest spot
on KRS-ONE'S "I GOT NEXT " cd. The VANDALZ have also traded verses with NORE, OFO,
MEENO, BIG L, RICH KID, and MR. CHEEKS just to name a few. Expanding there rein on
the streets, the VANDALZ started VANDALIZE ENTERTAINMENT. The VANDALZ also host
VANDALIZE T.V. , a public access show on Time Warner Cable channel 57, every Friday
nite 1:30am. VANDALIZE T.V. has become a weekly update for Hip-Hop heads, showing
rap battles, shout outs, videos, funny skits, and whats new in rap.
VANDALIZE ENTERTAINMENT has also shot over 21 videos for the MIC VANDALZ,
and a couple up and coming artist. I guess you might say Mic Vandalz have climbed
to the top of the underground market.
