Movies that changed my life include: Le Femme Nikita, Lara Croft's Tombraider Part I and II, Ghost Dog, Stranger than Paradise, Paris Texas, Blood Simple (in fact all of the Coen brothers films), The Unbelieveable Truth (and other Hal Hartley movies), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Clockwork Orange, The Exorcist (green puke is very scary!), Blade Runner, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Blow-Out (made during the time that John Travolta was NOT cool), Blue Velvet, Evil Dead, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension ("No matter where you go, there you are"), Pee Wee's Big Adventure, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Mad Max, Akira, The Warriors (shows what New York was like back in the day before Mayor Guilliani--when street punks, two bit thugs, pornographers, and drug lords ruled!), Flash Gordon, Hard-Boiled (John Wu invented that whole two-fisted-gun-turned-to-the-side-flying-through-the-air-act ion), Donnie Darko, to name a few....
