The Pioneering Spirit

Fomerly known as The Pioneering Spirit, Meglomanics began on Sept 11, 2001, JJ and P wrote songs for the next 6 years. They then recorded some of the material throughout Oakland. Together they are veterans of the bands: Zoopy Funk Theatre of Puppets, Yard Dogs Road Show, The Pajamas, Kid606 and Friends, San Francisco Mime Troop, Inner Ear Brigade, Waterhead, The Great All-Merge, Alien Crimianl Land, Daughters of Decline, Ginger Baker, Litttle Ronnie and the Chosen Ones, and all kinds of noise and improv groups. As well as performing, they produce electronic and pop music for commercial purposes.
