I am a fun, loving, and independent spirit with a passion for life and all that it has to offer. I grew up in Dallas and moved to Plano in high school. I graduated from Southern Methodist University and have since dabbled in every industry it seems, only to settle into printing brokership. I have been a realtor, buyer's agent, and I sold jewelry at Neimans. I acquired a ridiculous amount of handbags, shoes, jewelry, clothes, and debt! Oh well, you only live once! At Neiman's I met the man that I was meant to spend the rest of my life with, so my stint there was well worth it! I am truly lucky and grateful to have found my true passion in work, and that is in personal training. My clients are my joy, and I get even greater joy in helping them reach their goals. I am enthusiastic about my fitness and love the fact that I get to be apart of my client's fitness journey, they're such great people and I have such a blast training!!! I FINALLY found my calling. I love the outdoors....sort of...I like the kind of outdoors where there are boats and beer or any kind of water....roughing it in the outdoors is not my thing! I grew up as an equestrian so I love any kind of horse or horseback riding. I have competed in both stadium jumping and cutting horses since my childhood. I love to workout hard and on the weekends play harder with our fantastic group of friends and family, you all know who you are!!! I am a girly-girl at heart. I cry at movies, at commercials, when I am happy or sad...I am really in touch with my feelings I suppose! I love decorating our new house, gardening in the backyard, and going to Lowe's on Saturdays! I am really in a phase of domesticated bliss at this point in my life! I love any sort of shopping, traveling, water activities, playing with friends and family and spending time with the man that makes me smile. He is my HEART!! I feel truly blessed to have the life I do. I wake up every day with a smile on my face because I know who I am and I know that I spend every day with the one that I am meant to be with. I am extremely fortunate to have meaningful relationships in my life that teach me to be a better person. Life is great and I know that the best is yet to come!

My Interests

I love spending time with my incredible husband and our menagerie of puppies (which take up quite a bit of our time!) I like any kind of physical activity, I love being active!! I lift, and YES....I DO CARDIO NOW...wink, wink, husband!! I am most complete with Dan and our family and friends! We have a wonderful family and fantastic friends that mean the world to us!! I love to travel, read, garden (it's true), decorate our new home, cook for our family and friends, listen to live music, go to good dinners, workout, ride horses, sing as loud as I can in the car when no one can hear, lay in the sun and bake (or fry), manis/pedis, and shop, shop, and shop some more!! I am a true Leo to the core, I love deeply, laugh hard, cry hard, talk way too much, and have that certain insatiable zest for life that Leos are known for!!

I'd like to meet:

I have already met my soulmate and my one true love! I am proud to say that he is my husband, my best friend, and my biggest fan! He is the sweetest, kindest, most wonderful man I could have ever hoped for! I am honored to be his wife! I am really savoring every moment of married life and I find happiness in my heart knowing that we are growing as individuals in our love and as a married unit. I have learned a great deal about myself being married and it has really become a cathartic experience for me to not just focus on myself (which in the past I have had a tendency to do). The best part is knowing that I am just now discovering beauty in the "smaller" things in life through my marriage, and that is the true gift of love. I love to have a good laugh, so I would love to kick back and share some pops with Dane Cook, Steve Carrell, Lewis Black, and Bill Murray! I would also love to meet the great authors of our past and present, including, Simone de Beauvoir, Alice Walker, and Ralph Waldo Emerson.

Music:

You know, the classics, Micheal Bolton, Jon Secada, Neil Diamond, Liberace, Tom Jones, Barbara Streisand, John Tesh...all the modern day classics!! In all honesty, I love all genres of music.

Movies:

Waiting for Guffman, Napoleon Dynamite, Borat, Best in Show, Raising Arizona, Spinal Tap, The Big Lebowski, Anchorman, Caddyshack, and Dumb and Dumber. I love any Christopher Guest, Farrelly Bros. or Cohen Bros. movie...can you tell? I know they are cliche, but I also love the Notebook and Message in a Bottle!

Television:

I really do not watch too much TV, but when I do it is Dog the Bounty Hunter, Will & Grace re-runs, The Office, Entourage, and any UFC event!! Our newest favorite is Kitchen Nightmares with Gordon Ramsay...and yes, I am back on the Desperate Housewives wagon...my guiltiest pleasure!!

Books:

The Second Sex, The Bluest Eye, Meridian, Love, The Lover, The Color Purple, Their Eyes were Watching God, To Kill a Mockingbird, any Maya Angelou poetry, and anything by Simone de Beauvoir, Jean Paul Sartre, Zora Neale Hurston, Alice Walker, and Toni Morrison. I am out on the sappy and sacharin, ie. the romance novel...they suck the intelligence quotient right out of you!!

Heroes:

My incredible parents, they are the most amazing people. Their kindness, generosity, warmth and capacity for love is overwhelming. They have given me every opportunity in the world to succeed and to become a person of truth, love, and goodness. I also believe that our greatest heroes are those serving overseas in military. I hope they all come home very soon!!
