Singer/Songwriter Eileen Bergeron has a growing collection of great new material for all types of listeners. She is an energetic and dynamic performer who captures her audience’s attention and holds it until the last song of the show. She would say her music is a reflection of her personal experiences and a path to her true self. Her folksy country sound is resonant of her past and an exploration of her future.Eileen is no stranger to the Music industry. Growing up in South Milwaukee WI, she performed in four High School Musicals, Madrigals, vocal Jazz and many forms of vocal competition. In 2000, she was crowned Miss St. Francis 2000, which led her to compete in Miss Wisconsin 2000 where she won the title of Gladdy Good humor, (The funniest Girl.)In 2004, Eileen decided it was time to make the big move to New York City, finish her first (home recorded) CD “Faces of Loveâ€, and start performing.Eileen was a runner up in the July 2005 VH1 Songwriters “Song of the Year†contest. She has performed in a Kevin Scott Hall’s Cabaret workshop “That Singing Feeling†and took 4th in Boss Tweed’s Karaoke Idol.In 2006, Eileen debuted her original music in the Singer/Songwriter sessions at the legendary CBGB’s, and continued playing there until their recent closing.
