Alexandar Ivkovic

Aleksandar Ivkovic (1984). Due to influence of his older brother he got in touch with electronic music very early, when he was eleven. He made his first mixes when he was twelve. Music he played was more electro style but now his love is uncompromised techno. Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Adam Beyer are only a few names that had a great influence on him. He got his first important engagements when he was 17, working together with famous DJs of the local scene like Marko Nastic, Dejan Milicevic, Boža Podunavac, Neša Tehnika, Vlada Kukura, Marko Mirkovic, Aleks Jovanovic, Goran Kovacevic, Miloš Pavlovic… Soon after that he starts playing with foreign DJs.In 2004 Aleksandar became fourth member of the renowned Belgrade DJ organization „Tehnika 8×8”. He played on Exit’s festival Recon Warriors Stage two years in a row and also worked with some big names of world’s electronic music scene, like Umek, Monika Kruze, Cristian Varela, DJ Misjah, Damon Wild,Gaetano Parisio aka Gaetek…. His style varies from minimal electro to techno, depending on clubs where he’s playing. At the moment he is focused on production, involved with several projects. Watch out for upcoming releases!
