Shoxy : Producer - DJ

Nenad Petronijevic aka Shoxy was born in 1979. in Belgrade, Serbia . He gained his first musical experiences at the age of 13, playing drums in his older brothers rock band. This helped him develop sense for the basic rhythms which proved very useful for his latter work. Later on he started getting more interested in electronic music. In 1995. he starts collecting records and gets his first dj gig at the club Omen. Soon after that he continues working in all major clubs in Belgrade which made him become a resident in Belgrades legendary club Industria. That club hosted many great names of the world electronic music scene, such as: Moby, Hell, Anthony Shake Shakir, Daz Sound, Trevor Rocklife, Umek and many others.
What separated him from the others was his fastidious taste in music, tribal sound and aggressive bass lines which was well received with the public and he started getting bookings in all major cities in Serbia and Montenegro. Also played at Pepsi Sziget music festival (Budapest, Hungary) along with Deep Dish, Layo and Bushwacka, CJ Bolland and many more. Significant moment in his career also was the Move tour which consisted of visiting 12 cities in Serbia, playing along with all the most significant names of Serbian music scene.
Besides that he also played with lots of world wide famous DJs, such as: Derrick May, Eddie Evil Richards, Brenda Russell, Tony Thomas, Nils Hess, Oliver Ho, Johan Bacto, Joel Mull, C1, Bill Shakes aka Tobi Martin (The End). Had his first release in 2005 for the Ignition Records, owned by well known techno DJ duo Ignition Technician. Record got excellent reviews and good feedback. He was also a promoter of some famous parties in Belgrade, like: Resque, Warm up, Vibe, The Soul of Techno.
Currently hes running a show (Global Mix up) on Venus radio and preparing his new releases.

Muzikom se bavi od svoje 13. godine svirajuci bubnjeve u rok bendu starijeg brata. Nakon toga, njegova ljubav prema muzici okrenuta je ka elektronskom zvuku. 1995.godine pocinje ozbiljno da se interesuje za techno muziku i pocinje sa sakupljanjem svog prvog seta ploca. Nakon toga belezi svoj prvi javni nastup u legendarnom beogradskom klubu “Omen”. Posle toga dolaze veci i zapazeniji nastupi. Pored nastupa u svim vecim i manjim beogradskim klubovima, na poziv DJ Marka Nastica (TeenageTechnoPunks) nastupa u najpoznatijem beogradskom klubu “Industrija”, gde kasnije pocinje redovno da radi.Nastupao na “Teska masinerija No.3 - Industrija” party-ju.Osim njega nastupali su:Umek,Glen Willson,Valentino Kanzyani.DJ Shoxy-jev istancani ukus, jake bass linije, tribal zvuk, i otvoreni um, na samom pocetku karijere izdvajili su ga od ostalih muzicara.Pored nastupa po svim manjim i vecim gradovima u Srbiji i na prostoru bivse Jugoslavije , svira na “PEPSI SZIGET” festivalu (Budimpesta, Madjarska) pored imena kao sto su: Deep Dish, Layo & Bushwacka, CJ Boland…
U organizaciji"Centra za prezentaciju mladih" nastupa na “MOVE” turneji sa bendovima: Neocekivana sila koja se iznenada pojavljuje i resava stvar, Eyesburn, Darkwood dub i DJ-evima: Boza Podunavac i TTP Marko Nastic i Dejan Milicevic. “MOVE” turneja je obuhvatila 12 gradova.Osim toga ima i nastup sa legendarnim bendom “Disciplin a Kitschme” i sa poznatim svetskim producentima i DJ-evima:Derrick May, Edie “EVIL” Richards, Brenda Russell, Joel Mull, Oliver Ho,Johan Bacto, C1, Pierre, Bill Shakes(The End)...
Takodje je i organizovao i par veoma uspesnih partya medju kojima su :Resque SKC, Vide,The Soul of techno...
Takodje je radio na izradi DJ scena na filmu Mi nismo andjeli 2, i iza sebe ima dva snimljena filma o njegovoj DJ karijeri.Preko pet godina je imao svoje autorske emisije na radiju SKC i radiju Venus.
Naravno sve je ovo samo skracena biografija DJa koji sa svojom desetogodisnjom karijerom spada u najbolje DJeve Srbije.
