I am here for Friends

About Me

Well...where to start...I am a 5th grade teacher, which is hard to believe because I barely feel like I am out of 5th grade myself :) I don't know exactly what I enjoy spending my time doing...all I know is that I am constantly doing something! I like to keep busy and I'm pretty high-energy (but low maintenance!) to say the least. I'm fairly adventurous and am willing to try basically anything (with a few exceptions!). I am a sun worshipper & beach bum... this winter stuff is NOT for me. Give me hot and humid weather over this frigid stuff any day!

I love to travel. There are so many places that I would love to see and so many things I would love to experience. Money and time just don't allow for it right now!

My Interests

As I said before, I love the warm weather and staying active...so anything related to being outside on a nice day is appealing to me. I could spend my entire life on the beach...Other than that I love discovering new "cute little places" to walk around...shop... "people watch" (one of my very favorite activities). Spending time with the people that are important to me is high up there on my list. I love engaging in good conversation with good people. I do enjoy writing...but don't do enough of it.During the week, my job keeps me fairly busy, so weekends are my stress release and my bar hopping time. Although, I have found that the NJ bar scene leaves a lot to be desired haha! An eternal optimist, I remain hopeful!I think monkeys are great...and have quite an extensive collection of stuffed animals and other cutesy things, thanks to devoted friends and family members :)That about sums me up...for now.

I adopted a cute lil' monkey fetus from Fetusmart! Hooray fetus!

I'd like to meet:

Derek Jeter...and accept his marriage proposal

Oh...you mean on here! Interesting people ...you sure don't find them in bars :)

Music:

My taste in music is pretty varied. It all depends on where I am, who I'm with, and the mood I'm in. I like everything from the pop/rap/punkish stuff that gets me to work in the morning and that my brother blasts from his computer when I return home at night...to classic rock like the Beatles, the Doors, Pink Floyd...to 80's, like Foreigner, REO Speedwagon, Billy Idol, Journey...to the greats like Elton John and Billy Joel and U2...And I'll admit it, every now and then I like a good cry in my car over a sappy love ballad (The Search is Over by Survivor is quite possibly the cheesiest of them and also my favorite!)
