MyGen Profile Generator Formed in 1991 in the small village of Bedmond in Watford Exploding Eyeballs were formed by the two only members in respect of Lawnmower Deth, Intense Mutilation, Napalm Death and Gwar. The band played a new and exciting, but primitive, form of death grind due to the fact that income was scarce for the band. A chair and biscuit tin replaced drums and a guitar plugged into a stereo on maximum volume to give distortion formed the basis of the bands sound. Lyrically the subject matter handled everyday aspects of the bands lives with bizarre titles such as 'Brents Baggy Pants', 'Zippy - What Are You?', 'Gawky Head' and 'Suckin' Saab'. The band played a few small gatherings in Col's house but never fully gigged. They only recorded one demo titled 'Images of Life' and remains a rarity to this day. They split in early 1993 with their ambition to record a 1000 song EP never fully realised. However, a recent reunion between the two members has sparked rumour that a potential full reunion may be on the cards.
