Da Pack started out in an Old Trafford bedroom back in 2002. Here was where they practised their musical skills. Rare, then a 17yr old college student who always followed Hip Hop music religiously decided to write rhymes in his notepad about his life and things he liked. Olskool a young man, and also a good friend of Rare's was into the idea of making Hip Hop beats and decided he would get into the production side.Dj phoenix, also a good friend of Rare and Oske was into music and would be Da Pack's Dj. Da pack gained confidence for the music game by practising together. Due to the fact they were good friends, they were able to give confidence and gain confidence in each other. Phoenix would bring his mixing decks to Oske's house and he would mix while Rare rapped to instrumentals and Oske's beats. After 2 years Da Pack decided to try and get out into Manchester's nightlife and started promoting their own nights. It was'nt a very successful period but they learnt a lot about the entertainment business and night club procedures. In 2005 Rare recruited members Foe-3 AKA The verbal killer, a representative of GHC and also A'leo a R&B singer who often wrote songs with Rare and attended his recording sessions. C-mac, Rare's older brother was added late in 05 after a late night drink up turned into a recording session.
