About Me

I'm a father, author, songwriter and I guess a playwright since I turned my second book, Married But Still Looking into an off Broadway Play. I self published The Hearts of Men January of 2000 by my Jimrose Publishing House. During the 2000 Book Expo America in Chicago, I passed out a few copies of THOM and was picked up by Random House's imprint, Villard Books for the re-release of The Hearts of Men and Married but Still Looking. I signed again for Trouble Man, A One Woman Man, Something to Die for and A Family Sin.I'm a native of Florence, S.C. and I spent my fair share of time in Philadelphia, Pa. After Graduating from Wilson High School I attended Clark Atlanta University, Ohio State and University of Washington. I spent three years in U.S. Army and once I was honorably discharged, I moved to Columbus Ohio. Oh hell who gives a damn. I live in Atlanta now with my son Rashaad.
