The first time I convinced a dj to let me introduce a song on the air I was 13 and from then on I was hooked and knew that radio was the only thing I wanted to do. I was lucky enough to have my own on air shift at the local college radio station, KGRG , at 15. There I met Julie Pilat, who became my mentor (she's the coolest chick ever!) and by 16 I was working with her at one of the most popular commercial stations in Seattle, KUBE 93 !! I got to meet a lot of cool people during my years there (getting to work with NBA superstar Gary Payton on his radio show was very exciting for a high school student!!) and networked a bit, so when I moved to San Diego I was able to find a position at good ol Clear Channel. I totally scored when I got a gig with the DSC and have been having fun every morning since!! You know you've hit the big time when there's an article about you in the King County Journal , haha! (Funny how things you say get interpreted by reporters - not always right on, anyway...) Since my job ROCKS, I've been able to meet a lot of cool people and experience a lot of incredible stuff...so this page is to share all the awesome stuff I've gotten to do because of work!
