TORSO is a Chicago based instru-metal,brutal-prog trio with a penchant for hard bop and jazz.The two main musical collaborators,guitarist John G. Riemer and drummer Monte S. Whiteley started Torso in the late '90's, recently enlisting the bass talents of the more than capable Vic Jackson.They have had nothing but overwhelming responses to their jawdropping live shows often compared to a very ecclectic mix, such as: Mahavishnu meets early Metallica to Helmet meets Buckethead meets the Fucking Champs with some intense Tool type time signatures to boot.CHECK IT OUT!!!!
