A guitarist who is a Dr. with an additional 2 degrees in Music, a Keys player that’s a Research Professional who also directs a High School Show Choir, a Drummer who didn't like living in the Virgin Islands so he moved to Illinois and a Bassist who can’t afford any frets for his 6 string bass! The music is all original loud and melodic. The powerful pocket bass and percussion, throw back lyrical vocals, gravel munching organ sounds and classic soaring lead guitar work sets Resurrection Larry apart from the all to often vanilla cookie cutter stylists of indi, alt, and power pop rock you hear on the local music scene. Resurrection Larry, named in homage to the legendary Chicagoland hitch hiking spirit "Resurrection Mary" blends complex arrangements with memorable tunes and lyrics to please the most jaded rock fan.
