Laos in Harmony is a gospel music ministry based in Brooklyn, New York. Our name is derived from the Greek word Laos which means people, hence Laos in harmony. Our Director, Chelton Thorpe, is a talented young musician, anointed with a spiritual gift from God, founded this ministry in the spring of 2005.Each of our members has been hand-picked from various Seventh-day Adventist Churches within the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. We are young people dedicated to promoting Christian behavior and lifestyle.We have accepted the command of Jesus in Matthew 28:19, 20 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.Our spiritual endeavor is to draw others to Christ through our Ministry. Daily we strive for spiritual growth, and guidance and an increased desire to let Jesus be the Lord of our lives.
