trying to do it all...

About Me

I have a primary profile on MySpace so this one is for the stories I can't really go pubic with. Bruce Bloggie is my pen name only and the purpose of this profile is to write stories, not send bulletins! It's called a blog here but as Bella-Trix likes to clarify, there is a difference between bloggers and writers. I'm more of a writer. At least right now. So I've adopted the persona of 'Bloggie' instead of 'Blogger' but I don't know what that really means. So this is my alternative profile. My primary one will forever remain nameless here for completely obvious reasons (at least for now....).I never made any attempt to disguise who I really am in my primary profile and have referred many r/t friends and associates to it when explaining "who I am these days." So I have deliberately avoided both very personal and extremely revealing stories in that blog. I also am a very public person with a professional reputation to maintain (at least for a few more years) and don't want any connection with anything particularly risqué from any of my past lives.I have however lived a long and rather interesting life, growing up in the San Francisco Bay area in the 60s and attending the University of California at Berkeley during some of its wildest times - for example when orgies were final exams, at the peak of the 'free love' era. This means I've had some rather interesting experiences that friends have encouraged me to put in my blogs. And I promise all of them are absolutely true! Well... maybe with only a very small amount of embellishment - but all entirely from the questionable reality of my own memories!So.... this profile has the express objective of providing a venue for these, um, generally racier stories and they will all be public. But there will be no express public connection between the two profiles. I think you will not be disappointed if you subscribe - especially if you are looking forward to finding out how things used to be in the "good old days" - and I will also include current events when they are, um, interesting too *g*Anyway.... there you go! now please jump in and subscribe to my blog (and add me too if you want) and we will have lotsa fun! I recently set up a Yahoo IM account which you may add if you wish: brucebloggie

Me and Nan-io, down by the boatyard

Nan was probably in her early 40s when I knew her.  It was kind of tricky at a tender age to estimate the age of 'older people' but I did know she was certainly of an age where she would have mad...
