human pyramids, dogs, fresh air, head games, brain teasers, the butt hairs, plant life, open sores but not mended bones, the oxford comma, little kids and how they will turn on you, koko, couples therapy.
cool new people. also: i would really like to hear about your experiences with ghosts.
the cars, devo, queen, stevie wonder, the kinks, with a dash of plastic bertrand. maybe some pavement and nico for old time's sake. also don't tell anyone, but i really like paul simon's "graceland." promise you won't tell anyone.
the graduate is my favorite but i am trying to move away from the mildly depressing movies. other mildly depressing movies i hate to love: muriel's wedding, being john malkovich, rushmore, elling. movies i just plain love: revenge of the nerds and willy wonka and the chocolate factory. movie i thoroughly enjoyed the first half of but then became disinterested in when it turned to crime and scandal near the midpoint: after hours.
get a life, kids in the hall, freaks and geeks, strangers with candy. there are a couple of shows that i really enjoyed at one time but they came and went and no one else has any memory of them: the torkelsons, rags to riches, and tribes.
confederacy of dunces, the deptford trilogy, ghost world, secret history, the razor's edge, the mezzanine, barbara vine/ruth rendell mysteries (i've only read one, but i'm pretty sure i would like the others). emily bronkesh-buchbinder is a good recommender of books.
