With their debut release, “Serpentine Ep” (Brave New World Records), TGF is single handedly redefining and crossing the lines of modern day heavy metal. With jaw breaking riffs that will leave you in a daze, and hooks that will never leave your brain, whether you like it or not, you will remember TGF. “Were not just going out there to try and be different”, proclaims front man Justin Driggers, “Were just crazy guys and the more we write the more that starts to show.” Influenced from the southern rock and arena bands they grew up on, to the rebellious metal that drove their parents crazy, TGF offers something most bands today are not familiar with, a happy medium. “TGF shows honestly remind me of going to the grocery store. You see parents bringing their kids, grandparents bringing their grandkids, bikers and rednecks, hippies and scene kids, ya just never know at a TGF show.”It took the death of TGF to make them realize they couldn’t live without it, and the Resurrection has been better than imagined. You can bet on seeing much more of these Arkansas natives in years to come, and be sure to expect big things from TGF in 2008.

The Kid Is Back

We started out as a bunch of kids who just wanted to rock. We weren't trying to change the world or anything like that, we just wanted people to feel what we felt when we heard heavy music. ...
