Wow, that is quite a heavy responsibility for anyone to live up to. Human beings are creatures flawed by design. Who of us has the right to say what feat qualifies as heroic?
Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines? Firefighters? Teachers? New York City Taxicab Drivers? How about the 4 year old girl with terminal cancer that finds the strength to smile at any time, for whatever reason?
I don't know about heroes, but these are some of the people that fuel my fire, and give me the burning ambition to wake up everyday to see what life has in store for me next:
