The Orin Project

The Orin Project is an eclectic conglomeration of diverse musical backgrounds colliding for a unique musical experience. The live show provide a robustly engaging environment that demands your attention and pulls you in to the atmosphere of the performance. The Musical styles range from jazz to bluegrass, zydeco, and folk with a rich, tasty, grooving funk rock filling. Influences range from Bela Fleck and the Flecktones, The Grateful Dead, Bruce Hornsby, Bob Marley, and The Dave Matthews Band to Prince, James Brown, Tower of Power and Earth Wind and Fire a small dose of Primus and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The Orin Project Attempts to bridge cultural and musical gaps with a Jam Band attitude and persona that combines a "danceable” pop culture atmosphere with an organic, improvisational dash of musical mayhem.
