Omaha, Nebraska, first thought is white people, corn fields and cows. But there is more than that. Omaha is full of young talent, but the artist never gets shine because of lack of radio promotion, and rappers older than 30, that TRIES to still make it. But known for alot of upcoming artists, between the ages of 13-25. Most of them are still in school, and the other ones are full time hustlers in the streets pushing C.D.s out the back of their trunk. And for the others, they push their music in school. Even though its a tough challenge to make it in the 402 (Omaha, Nebraskas area code), DJ Kasanova makes it look real easy.
For a cat who only shows respect for only underground artist and DJ's such as DJ Bull, DJ Screw, DJ Yellaboy, OG Ron C, Freestyle Kingz, DSR, The Original Swishahouse, 3rd Degree, The Whole Screwed Up Click and more, he has so many ideas to make him major. For him only being 16, still in High School, he makes things happen for himself. It all started when he was about 10 years old. Nova was just at his grandmothers house, outside, with his friends Marquez, Markell. And out of no where Markell started rapping. And Mista Novito was fancinated by the way his rhymes sounded so good. So later on that night, he stayed over Markells house, and they all wrote down about 8 bars, and recorded it on the computer. When he heard that, even though is wasnt all the good, he fell in love with the rap game.
About that time he was in the third grade, so he wasnt experienced and smart enough to start rapping, so he just always said he was going to be a rapper, but never had a rhyme. So about 3 years later, when he was in the 6th grade, he met a friend who made beats, and recorded music over other famous artist beats. Then it started all over again. Nova went over his house all the time, juss to record a freestyle track, and then just listened to the songs for his own enjoyment. Then, he went to Nathan Hale Middle school. A new environment, new friends, new everything. So there when he met new friends, he would bring out the freestyle tracks he made before, and everyone loved them. Therefore, he made a lil buzz at school and attracted a few other artist named Killa Kev, Big Leroy, & Lil Tank. So with them, they started there group called "Da Retro Clique" and ran on Novaz lil label called The Basementt Clique". At lunch, they would rap at the table, and everyone was feeling the flows and that helped there creds as rappers at there school. But then a few months later, they all splitted up do to lack of commitment towards coming in a making a few tracks on the computer. So after Da Retro Clique split, Nova then again put the rapping on hold until the summer of the 2K6, he was back on it.
After realizing of how much he can do in the rap game, and also with the picking up his DeeJaying skills, he decided to give it another shot. But this time, he did it all on his own. He mixxed a few tracks, chopped n screwed a few tracks, and then just ran with mostly as a DJ than a rapper. Kasanova'z style and skills opened the ears of a friend named Absolut-P (the friends house Nova recorded tracks at in the 6th grade). They both started talking, and after that, DJ Kasanova was officially with the A-Mann Click. Both Nova and Absolut-P had big plans for projects. One day in A.B. basement, Nova came up with the idea to host the A-ManN Click on a mixxtape called A-ManN Click, A-ManN Nation (named after there phrase). They both created ideas for tracks, and then they started working on the mixtape. The first tracks they made was "Black" feat. MIC 4rm Da A-ManN Click (a long time friend of Novaz) and Nova hiself rapping, and then "Ganksta Goggles" feat R.Mills 4rm Da D-Squad/A-Mann, Absolut-P, and DJ Kasanova again rapping. Both tracks made a big buzz, and everything was going good with the shows they performed them songs at. Everything was lovely, but then, everything wasnt all that good. Novito had a few issues how things ran with the A-ManN Click on and off, and when it was time to speak on it, things just got worse, so in July 2K6, DJ Kasanova was removed from Da A-ManN Click. But this time, Nova had another group of artist he been hangin out with for several weeks, so he just ran with them, and then he was the new member of Triple R feat Sky Starks, Nicho, KG, & Reese. With them, Nova had full control of what he wanted to do. And since his start with Triple R, he has managed to work with older and more experienced artists, getting into my shows, even into clubs. (cause im still a minor)

Yo whut it iz. Dis ya boi Kasanova reppin Triple R. Ya boi is 17, comin straight out the O, Nawfside all day. Shit yea im still in school, im a junior (look older den that though). Also im holdin it down for da hood, if you dont know what that be, it be dat Murdertown, 3900 all day. Shout out to all my M.T.G's that support dey lil nigga tryin to do something with this music shit. Im an artist, DJ, and just a whole lotta shit. So im on my grind, just trying to do somethin to get peoplez head bumpin ya know.
The music I make, i all day everyday shit. I talk about this shit i go through, the things that happened to me, and just trill ass savage shit that I live. With my style of rap, I dont try to imatate the hottest artist thats out. I stick to one style and thats mine. I think niggaz get to carried away by listening to a track, then trying to make a track similar, trying to sound like that artist. Me....Im inspired by alot of artist, but not once do I try to sound like them. Because once you do that, basically your going to end up talking about the same shit they do, then you end up trying to live there life. So I dont get caught up in all dat.
Business wise. Im on my networking shit now ya know. Now, if you a nigga about making money, and exspanded dis music shit, fuck wit ya boy and im a fuck with you. It dont matter what hood you from, age, sex, whatever. Im trying to market in everything I do. Im fucking with the music, and now im tryin to get into a whole lot of different markets you know. So if you on sum business shit, im that nigga you need to holla at cause im about working with other people who is about doing something constructive.
