Philly's own DJ P-ski may only be 17 years old, but after 4 years on the kut you can expect to hear his name a lot more often in the near future. He first saw Turntablism when he was 7 years old, and he saw "Three Emcees and One DJ" by the Beastie Boys on TV. That night he gave it a shot on his moms tower stereo , which had a turntable that was belt drive. He broke the belt and his mom punished him for this. He was never able to get the thought of DJing out of his head and at the age of 13 bought his first set of turntables with his Bar Mitzvah money. His parents figured this was a fad like one in the past, but no he practiced every day hours on end, and then he became very fortunate that his parents learned to support him. He has now done numerous battles, rocked many parties, he has even opened a club on New years even in N.Y.C with his fellow crew mate DJ Ronin of the Armed Forces Crew.
