About Me

Well, this May I'll finally be getting my Bachelor's Degree. I started this trip twelve years ago, but took lots of winding side roads... was a computer analyst in the Army... changed my major from Biology, to Computer Science, back to Biology, and now Anthropolgy... collected 3 AA's. Whew, finally almost done. I just got an awesome promotion at one of my jobs, so after May, I'll be just working one. This will be my first summer in a very long time that I'm not in school and working two jobs, so I plan to enjoy it to the fullest! I want to finally learn how to surf and finish up my SCUBA certification. This is going to be the best year ever!
"God was my co-pilot, but then we crashed and I had to eat him." - bitchen' bumper sticker on Kelly Orange's truck
"The first sip is for thirst, the second for pleasure. The third sip for romance, and the fourth for pure madness."- found that on a Lagunita's bottle, but it fits my love for Trappist Rochefort 10 perfectly.
"In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. And we will understand only what we've been taught." - Baba Dioum, Senegal 1968
"106 Miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes. It's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses. Hit it." - Blues Brothers
"Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but a thread in it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect." - Chief Seattle

My Interests

my kitty Saber Wolfgang and my new little blacky Zander, archaeology, anthropology, zoology, marine biology, caffeine, movies, digital photography, wildlife, reptiles, full moons, fossils, music, Imax, fine beer drinking and label collecting, Rhone wine, sushi, Thai food, zombies, road trips, Cirque de Soleil, would love to have gone to an old "freak show" carnival if they were still around, belly dance, horse back riding, laughing and laughing some more until my sides hurt, adrenaline, dressing up on Halloween or other excuses to wear costumes, using the heck out of my passport someday, gazing into the sea, snorkeling, SCUBA, living life to its fullest
