This is a very busy week for me - not just at work, but evenings as well.

Last night (Tuesday)is the only night I will be home all week. At least, I was able to watch American Idol.

By the time the weekend comes around, I'll be more than ready to just stay home and relax.

Last Friday night, I went to see Bridge to Terebithia at Northpark Mall. T'was great!

Archaeologists in Italy have discovered a couple buried 5,000 to 6,000 years ago, hugging each other.

With all the recent, record-breaking snow in Colorado, I am glad to be back from my trip there. I arrived there right after the first blizzard ended and came back just before the second one began. Here are some pictures from the visit.

BodyWorlds -
an Exhibition of
"Real Human Bodies"


I want to visit this exhibition at the Dallas Science Museum at Fair Park.

Here's how they're advertising it:

"The exhibition features approximately 200 authentic human specimens, including whole bodies, plastinated individual organs and transparent body slices that have been preserved through the process of Plastination, a technique that replaces bodily fluids and fat with reactive plastics. BODY WORLDS offers a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see and understand our own physiology and health and to gain new appreciation and respect for what it means to be human."
Everyone I've talked with who has seen it says it's amazing and worth going. These are real human bodies, some still with hair, fingernails, genitalia, vital organs and very real-looking from what I'm told.
